Chapter 11 update. orz

… Yeah… You know when this mandrake promised that the chapter would be done quicker? The current mandrake right now would like to punch that mandrake of the past. Such a foolish promise.

This mandrake has to apologize once more. The chapter wasn’t finished. It was on the right track but the traditions of life interfered. It happened like this.

It lists the links of all of this mandrake’s R.A.M. chapters on RoyalRoadL!

Apparently this is a new site that lists links to light novel across the web. Most of its links are taken from NovelUpdates and other weblistings but this site features original works in English! NovelUpdates only feature updates for translations so this is an opportunity for this mandrake!

This mandrake had a chat with the site admin and had the links from this site featured as well!

Hmm? This mandrake’s life update? Well, When the opportunity presented itself, this mandrake went running. And hit a brick wall. Now this mandrake have to climb the wall with a spoon. Hard effort curve is hard.

This mandrake got in! R.A.M. got accepted into Webfictionguide!

Wooooooo!

This is amazing! This mandrake hope its story will get more traction. It will still be a tough climb…

On the other hand, Wattpad is not looking good. In fact, it looks even more shady. This mandrake had come across many attempts of plagiarism of other people’s works. The users will post a translated chapter copied from the translator’s site as their own. Their petty attempt is weak willed though, as they stop updating after a few chapters when the view numbers are bad. There are some that are pretty famous but all of these makes this mandrake frown. No link to real author’s site or translator’s site! But especially the author’s!

However, life is very unexpected.

This mandrake has missed a release on 24th June, Saturday last week. This mandrake humbly apologizes. The reason for the delay is… The chapter is not ready yet… The draft is done but this mandrake have to do some serious editing and rephrasing before it is acceptable for readers to read. This mandrake apologizes for this mishap.

That’s not all the bad news though… This mandrake has come across a career opportunity that is life changing for it. However, this opportunity have an effort curve, much like a learning curve but much, much bigger. Because this mandrake will focus on this opportunity, less focus is saved for R.A.M. It is a hard decision, but one this mandrake must make. This mandrake will not put up a hiatus but rather chapter releases will be less frequent than the usual weekly.

But it’s not all bad. In order to cope with its busy schedule, this mandrake have decided to do some fragmented writing. This mandrake will write down drafts of random parts of the story whenever this mandrake can. This mandrake will let the story clutter in a chronological order and would be able to edit and rephrase it when it come across it instead of writing a draft and edit and rephrase it from the start. This will allow this mandrake to write down drafts in between breaks of its struggles with this life changing opportunity.

This mandrake apologize again for the inconvenience and hope for the readers to come by again.

Reposting R.A.M. on a second site

It seems this mandrake’s plan has backfired on itself.

This mandrake will be posting some of R.A.M.’s chapters on RoyalRoalL in hopes that R.A.M. will get more readers.

What a new experience! A new site that has expanded from a translation site.

However, this mandrake has stumbled on its first few steps. Its submission got rejected!

This mandrake was in a panic! Because this mandrake has posted the web series format instead of the first chapter! The submission form only had room for one chapter. This mandrake thought that posting the web series format after the first chapter is rude to the reader so it made a gamble. The reviewers must be angry!

The reviewer also mentioned about this mandrake having to acknowledge that it is this mandrake will be posting on RoyalRoadL on this site. So this mandrake have to make this post as proof. Hello reviewer! Please like my series.

However, this mandrake now suffers from a panic attack about plagiarism. Please don’t copy this mandrake’s precious story! Share the site and talk to this mandrake about sites that you want it to post on.

A mandrake’s ramblings

This mandrake watched its first chapter today. No views!
Starting from zero is hard! This mandrake knows that it is reality but it feels reality should be a bit kinder!

The chapter should be well written in writing sense. This mandrake believes so. Or those 3~5 whole chapter re-edits are a lie.

The story is a bit shallow. This mandrake accepts that. But the mandrake believes the story will develop deeper! More chapters to come! No views or not!

This mandrake notices a new follower. The mandrake does a dinky dance♪ But there’s no views on first chapter post! This mandrake wonder why.

This mandrake checks its new follower. Follower is a behemoth. Eeek. It hopes it acknowledges this mandrake enough for it to share.

This mandrake will cease its ramblings.

New chapter ‘Chapter 2 – Good Morning Japan’ will be scheduled for release on Friday (May 19th)!
